Web17 Apr 2024 · Apparently I go the bug with the 5Ghz wifi. I can't get the Steam Deck to connect to it on the router no matter what. But the 2.4Ghz on the router connects just fine. If I had to guess, it would be because of the Deck's CPU. It only has 4 cores and emulation is usually CPU intensive. Still though it's weird that it's able to keep a consistent 60fps in some games, yet it feels horrible to play due to frametime dips and spikes.
